Analyze Learners
This lesson is designed for multi-cultural high school seniors who are taking a general English class with 25 students. Students with disabilities, such autism or speech impairment, will have a pre-selected group and will be working one-on-one with the teacher to help meet their needs. Students try to eat a fast or easy breakfast, such as cereal, at home or school unaware of the nutritional facts. This lesson will invoke research and communication skills while learning about food and health.
Entry characteristics
Students in this class are proficient with computers and accessing the internet. They also have prior researching skills. Students should also know how to work in groups.
